Marshall Hayner

Marshall Hayner is CEO and Co-Founder of Metal, a payments processing platform that pays people cryptocurrency for making transactions on the blockchain.

Currently he is working on a blockchain protocol designed to solve data privacy issues relating to payments.  Bridging the gaps between cryptocurrency and traditional finance, it enables payments to be requested and processed without sharing personally identifiable information in a manner which is vulnerable to bad actors.

Marshall helped launch Dogecoin and Stellar, and has worked on numerous digital currency projects including Block.io, ChangeTip, and the Bitcoin Fair. Previously, he started the first Facebook integrated bitcoin wallet QuickCoin.

Marshall is an advocate for social good and has started the Metal Foundation to promote social causes through cryptocurrency.
