Elizabeth Press has worked as a full time journalist and producer for the independent daily television/radio news hour, Democracy Now! On a Fulbright Scholarship. She has also worked at a rural technology center in the Dominican Republic and developed an international video exchange between youth in the Dominican Republic and the States. Elizabeth Press has shown her video works in festivals in the U.S. and around the world. She has presented and lectured as a media activist, educator, and artist. She co-directed STILL WE RIDE and the War and Peace documentary trilogy with Andrew Lynn, including Independent Media in a Time of War with the Hudson Mohawk Independent Media Center (2003) which has been screened around the world and on Democracy Now!’s ‘Unembed the Media’ tour.
