Alex Rivera is a digital media artist and filmmaker who tells new, urgent, and visually adventurous Latino stories. His upcoming project in virtual reality is a collaboration with VR pioneer Nonny de la Peña. Other recent collaborations have included work with Manu Chao, La Santa Cecilia and Aloe Blacc.
Dr. Gabriella (Biella) Coleman, PhD is an author and cyber-anthropologist, who researches, writes, and teaches on the culture and ethics of computer hackers and digital activism. Her recently released book, Hacker, Hoaxer, Whistleblower, Spy: The Many Faces of Anonymous, delves into the varied sets of ethics and philosophies behind the anti-movement of hackers, pranksters, and activists who operate under the collective pseudonym “Anonymous”.
Boots Riley is a poet, rapper, songwriter, producer, screenwriter, humorist, political organizer, community activist, lecturer, and public speaker- best known as the lead vocalist of The Coup and Street Sweeper Social Club. Riley is the only known musical artist whose surveillance by intelligence agents has been exposed due to Wikileaks documents.
