Over the decades he has painted stencils, pasted posters, and installed other forms of guerrilla art onto the streets of New York’s Lower East Side and beyond. His work has been the illustrated accompaniment to countless social and political movements around the globe.
He is the author and illustrator of five graphic novels:

– PORTRAITS OF ISRAELIS AND PALESTINIANS
– DISASTER AND RESISTANCE

Tobocman is one of the founding editors and regular contributor to the political comic World War 3 Illustrated which was recently featured in a group show of at the Museum of Modern Art.
He currently teaches at School of Visual Arts in the department of cartooning and Illustration.
